Navigate to the Manage HR GPO Skills page via an Application Module that opens the $ng_skills.do UI Page. Observe that user cards do not display user details correctly. Attempt to add a skill to a user. The operation fails or no users are shown. Expected Result: User cards display correctly and skills can be assigned to users.

Actual Result: User details are missing from cards and skills cannot be added.

The fieldName parameter in the URL arguments passed to the $ng_skills.do UI Page must reference a field of type "Reference". When a non-reference field (e.g., name ) is used as the fieldName , the page cannot correctly resolve and display user records.

Navigate to the Application Module record that opens the Manage HR GPO Skills page. Review the arguments/URL parameters passed to the $ng_skills.do UI Page. Locate the fieldName parameter in the arguments. Change fieldName=name to fieldName=sys_id (or the appropriate Reference-type field for your target table). Save the Application Module record. Example arguments:

$ng_skills.do?sysparm_parentSkill= &sysparm_parentDepartment=&recursiveSkills=true&recursiveDepartments=true&showLocation=true&tableName=sys_user&encodedQuery=active=true&fieldName=sys_id

Verification:

After updating the fieldName , reload the Manage HR GPO Skills page and confirm that user cards display correctly and skills can be added.

Notes:

When tableName=sys_user , use fieldName=sys_id . When tableName=sys_user_grmember , use fieldName=user (the reference field to the group). The fieldName must always be a Reference-type field corresponding to the specified tableName .
