When clicking the Retire UI action, the system does not retire the article and the status remains as Published. The issue occurs in both Workspace UI and Platform UI. These conditions caused the approval step in the Retire Workflow to be skipped, leaving the article in the Published state. Note: Test on a non-production instance before making changes to production.
