On the controller instance, manually add target environments as managed instances by navigating to All > Multi-instance management > Managed instances and creating a managed instance record for each environment. 3. Each target instance must approve the controller instance to establish trust, as authorization requests are sent upon creating managed instance records. 4. Once managed instances are configured and approvals are completed, return to ReleaseOps > ReleaseOps Guided Setup to automatically display the instances in the 'Select instances for setup' step.
