Restrict access to a quick link

Restrict access to quick links by setting the user criteria, which allows access only to specific users, groups, roles, and more.

Role required: sp_admin, taxonomy_manager or taxonomy_admin and user_criteria_admin

Do one of the following: (If you have the sp_admin role) Navigate to Employee Center > Quick Links . Navigate to Content Taxonomy > Quick Links .

The Quick Link module displays the list of existing quick links. Click a quick link that you want to restrict access to. Click the Available For tab. To Do this Add a new user criteria Click New . On the form, fill in the fields. For more information about the form fields and descriptions, see User Criteria form Click Submit .

Edit an existing user criteria Click Edit . On the Edit Members form, select the required roles, users, and groups from the Collection column and move them to the Available For List column by clicking the right arrow icon ( ). Click Save .
