Validating the certificate is something that should be done by 3rd parties.We can only keep a record of that, via integrations with 3rd party. To summarize we cannot validate OOTB the certificates that are kept. We maintain a record of certifications that we get from say Credly and then assign skills accordingly. Currently OOTB we only support Credly integrations.
