We are currently facing an issue with the ServiceNow Request mobile/web application Issue Problem The OAuth authorization page for the ServiceNow Request mobile/web application is displayed at every login, even after the user has already granted access multiple times. This behavior impacts all users and creates confusion and a poor user experience. The expected behavior is for the authorization prompt to appear only once per user (initial consent), after which the session/token should be reused without requesting consent again. Release All Cause Root Cause The 'Public Client' field in the 'ServiceNow Request' oauth_entity record was set to false, which prevented correct token handling for the mobile client. As a result, the authorization prompt appeared at every login. Setting the 'Public Client' field to true resolved the issue by enabling proper token storage and reuse. Resolution Steps to Resolve1. Navigate to the oauth_entity table in the ServiceNow instance. 2. Locate the 'ServiceNow Request' record. 3. Verify the 'Public Client' field is set to true. 4. If the field is set to false, update it to true. 5. Save the record and test the ServiceNow Request mobile/web application to confirm the authorization prompt no longer appears repeatedly.
