The cmdb_model table is not a child of cmdb_ci and is therefore not included in the supported relationship scope. As a result, there is no native method to directly associate a Knowledge Article with a Product Model record. The following options are available: Link via a related CI record — If a specific CI record in cmdb_ci contains a reference field (such as model_id) that points to the relevant cmdb_model record, link the Knowledge Article to that CI record instead. This provides an indirect association between the article and the Product Model through the CI.Custom relationship table — If a direct Knowledge Article to Product Model association is required, a custom many-to-many relationship table can be created to extend the existing linking functionality to include the cmdb_model table. Note that this is a customization and falls outside the scope of standard support.
