"Reapply Lookup Rule" Button— reruns a lookup rule on a discovered item to try to match it with a CI. Use this after changing a CI lookup rule or when an item was never matched in the first place."Reapply CI Lookup Rules on the Changed Discovered Items" — re-evaluates discovered items whose source data has changed since the last import and tries to match them with CIs. This is the correct action when a discovered item has already been through the lookup process but still needs to be matched. If a discovered item has already been processed and the source data has since changed, the "Reapply Lookup Rule" button will not update the match. The Reapply CI Lookup Rules job must be used instead by following the steps below. Navigate to Vulnerability Response > Integrations > Discovered Items.Find the discovered item that is not matching to a CI and confirm it is in an Unmatched state.Click the Actions dropdown at the top of the list.Select "Reapply CI Lookup Rules" on the Changed Discovered Items.Wait for the job to finish, then refresh the discovered item record and confirm the CI field has been populated.
