Scenario observed: A new alert is generated in Prisma for the same Source ID and Policy ID.The previous alert (with a different Alert ID) was already closed in Prisma.Prisma sends a new payload with a new Alert ID.Instead of creating a new Test Result record in ServiceNow, the existing Test Result record is updated. This confuses the users when they rely on the Prisma Alert ID to track and correlate findings in ServiceNow. Since the same Test Result record is updated, visibility of separate alert occurrences is lost. The ServiceNow integration logic identifies Test Result records primarily based on: Source IDPolicy ID If an existing active Test Result record is found for the same Source ID and Policy ID, the system updates the existing record instead of creating a new one — even if the incoming payload contains: A different Alert IDAn alert that was previously closed in Prisma ServiceNow does not currently validate the Prisma Alert status (open/closed) before deciding whether to create a new Test Result.
