The issue arises due to an exception: cmdb_ci_esx_server class. The cmdb_ci_esx_server class uses the correlation_id field for identification, which is auto-generated in the staging table and not a stable value. The staging table's auto-generated correlation_id cannot be used in the cmdb_ci tables, as it is random and does not represent a meaningful or consistent identifier.
