Search does not work on org_chart page in Employee Center - Known Error

Search does not work on org_chart page in Employee Center Description Users are experiencing an issue where the search functionality on the Org Chart page in the Employee Center is not working correctly. The search results do not match the entered term and instead display all items. As a result, users are unable to locate specific employees or departments within the organization chart.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to the Employee Center. 2. Go to the emplyee's profile and click view org_chart. 3. Enter a search term in the search bar. 4. Observe that the search results do not match the entered term, instead displaying all items.

Workaround The issue occurs in the Org Chart (EC) widget because ^NQ appears in the reference qualifier generated from the condition defined in Employee Definition . The current condition is a two-part query, which is causing the problem.

Since this is a product-level issue, it is being addressed, and a fix will be included in a future release. Until then, the following workarounds are recommended:

1. Simplify the condition in the Employee Definition to a single query without ^NQ .

OR

1. Deactivate the Employee Definition in the instance.

2. Perform the search again.

3. Verify that the search results now match the entered term. However, note that the expected result set may not always be consistently returned in the dropdown.
