Google Admin Console → Devices → Chrome → Apps & extensions → User app settings, select your Organisation and in “Policy for extensions”, paste the following policy values using the following JSON format:

Policy Descriptions:

Instance: ServiceNow instance URL where the extension connects (works with or without https:// prefix). Ex: company.service-now.com or https://company.service-now.com

Browser extension portal: Portal identifier for the browser extension Ex: ecbe (Employee Center Browser Extension portal suffix)

Employee portal: Portal identifier for the employee center Ex: sp (Service Portal) or esc (Employee Service Center)

Extension title: Title displayed in the browser extension Ex: ServiceNow Browser Extension for Employee Portal

Extension icon path: URL to the icon displayed in browser toolbar (requires full URL with https:// ) Ex: https://company.service-now.com/logo.iix

Enable notifications: Controls whether browser notifications are shown (true or false)

Enable context menu: Controls whether right-click context menu options appear (true or false)

Open search in browser extension: Controls if search opens in extension panel or new tab (true or false)

Allowed sites: List of websites where the extension is active (domain names only, without https:// ) Site name configured in sn_ex_brw_ext_website table. Ex: ["workday", "google", "salesforce"] - the extension will be active on any URL containing these domains

Context menu title for search: Text shown in right-click menu for extension search Ex: Search in Employee Center

Context menu title for search in portal: Text for right-click option to search in portal Ex: Open Search in Employee Portal

Empty state title: Header shown when on unsupported websites Ex: Visit Employee Hub

Empty state message: Message shown when on unsupported websites Ex: You are not on a supported site.

Empty state action label: Button text to navigate to employee portal Ex: Go to Employee Portal

Empty state header logo: Logo displayed in empty state header (requires full URL with https:// ) Ex: https://company.service-now.com/header_logo.png
