This behavior is controlled by the system property sa_analytics.agg.load_security_alerts, which defaults to false. When this property is false, the aggregation job does not load Security alerts into the clustering process, so no grouping occurs regardless of how many matching alerts exist. This was introduced as part of the Tag-Based Alert Correlation (TBAC) feature (Xanadu), which added explicit filtering of Security alerts and alerts without CIs at the aggregation stage. Once enabled, the aggregation job will include Security alerts in the clustering evaluation. Note: If you are also using Tag-Based Alert Clustering (TBAC) with automated groups, ensure the related property sa_analytics.agg.tag_based_clustering_from_agg_job is also set to true (default is false).
