If the Instance URL configured in the clone target (instance.list) record does not exactly match the base URL shown when accessing the destination instance’s replication.do endpoint, the validation fails. As a result, the clone submission returns the authentication-related error, even though the credentials are correct. Log in to the destination instance and access the replication.do endpoint. 5. Verify that the base instance URL displayed on the replication.do page exactly matches the Instance URL configured in the clone target record. 6. Update the clone targets URL record if any discrepancy is found. 7. Save the record and resubmit the clone request. Once the Instance URL configuration is corrected and aligned with the replication endpoint, the clone request should proceed successfully.
