This BR uses the AssetandCI and AssetCMDBUtil script includes. Under the hood, it uses: AssetCMDBUtil SNC.CmdbMetadataScriptableApi.hasSerialNumberRuleWithNoRelationship(ciClass); If there is no attribute for just the serial number, then this method will fail and will fail to create CI with Serial number + model.If there is any custom Identifier Rule that has not "Serial Number only", the platform does not treat serial number as mandatory in this context, and the CI creation path can fall back to the "no serial number" logic. Fix : Update the Identifier Rule entry so it uses only Serial Number (remove other attributes like name etc.,), This should resolve the issue.
