Agent capacity for Service Channel overrides the Max Universal CapacityIssue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Agent capacity for a service channel is overriding the Maximum Universal Capacity, which is not expected behaviour. According to ServiceNow documentation: https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-servicenow-platform/page/administer/advanced-work-assignment/task/awa-universal-capacity.html the Maximum Universal Capacity represents the total number of work items an agent can handle across all service channels. Documentation does not provide the behaviour when the agent universal capacity is set to 0. Resolution<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Expected Behaviour If an agent's Max Universal Capacity is set to 0, the system interprets this as no universal capacity being defined for that agent. When universal capacity returns 0, it indicates that nothing has been configured for the agent's universal capacity. As a result, the system defaults to using the agent's capacity defined at the service channel level and it does not respect max universal capacity for agent which is set to 0. Out-of-the-box behaviour: When Max Universal Capacity is set to 0, it has no effect, and cases can still be assigned to the agent.When Max Universal Capacity is set to a value greater than 0 (e.g., 1), the system enforces that limit and stops assigning additional cases once the threshold is reached.
