Steps to Reproduce

Setup Azure Key Vault External resolver using Managed Identity as auth method. Configure the MID to use a proxy

Note in MID log the line "MID server is hosted outside of Azure cloud"

Also note that the attempt to log IMDS status code fails and looks like this as the substitution has not worked. "response status code from IMDS URL: {} is {}"

Workaround There is no known workaround for this issue. If you are able to upgrade, review the "Intended Fix Version" section below below to determine the versions that have a permanent fix.
