The user reviewed the Identification rules but observed new CIs being created. The issue is linked to a permission issue with the MongoDB server process, preventing Discovery from populating required details, such as the TCP port, which results in duplicate CIs. The config file /mongo/ops/db32417/automation-mongod.conf cannot be read due to permission restrictions, as it contains encryption secrets accessible only to the mongod user. Identification Rule Hierarchy MongoDB instance -> Database Instance -> Application. If no enough attributes are found for MongoDB instance Identification Rules, we fallback to Database Instance Identification Rules, and if not enough attributes are found for Database Instance Identification Rules, we fallback to Parent Application CI Identification Rules
