The Service Provider Blocked indicator means: The service provider (Partner/MSP) has not yet entitled the instance for this application in the ServiceNow Store. Even if the app appears as "Ready to Install" in the Store, it cannot be installed on your instance until your Partner/MSP explicitly enables entitlement. How to Resolve the Issue ✅ Option 1: If You Are the Partner / MSP Go to the ServiceNow Store.Open the application showing the Service Provider Blocked indicator.Click "Manage Entitlements."Select the required customer instance.Enable entitlement for that instance.Save changes. Once completed, the customer will be able to install the application from App Manager. ✅ Option 2: If You Are the Customer If your instance is managed by a Partner/MSP: Contact your Partner/MSP administrator.Ask them to: Navigate to the ServiceNow StoreUse "Manage Entitlements"Enable your instance for the required application Once entitlement is granted, the Service Provider Blocked message will be removed. Why This Happens For Partner- and MSP-managed customers: Application access is centrally controlled by the service provider. This ensures: License complianceContractual enforcementControlled rollout across managed instances IMPORTANT (PRB1971096) When Service Provider Blocked Indicator Disappears but Installation Still Fails If the Service Provider Blocked indicator is no longer visible on the application page, but you still see an installation blocked message listing dependent applications, this may be related to PRB1971096. To Verify Click on the dependency link shown in the block message.Check if the Service Provider Blocked message appears on those dependent applications as well. To Resolve Go to the application page on the ServiceNow Store.Navigate to the Dependencies list. For each dependency application: Click Manage Entitlements.Apply the same configuration as the parent app: Move the instance to the Entitled list. Once completed for all dependencies: Sync the instance.Retry the installation.
