What to do if receiving and Insufficient Privileges or blank screen when launching a Logik configuration<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: #000000; } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: #000000; } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: black; } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: black; } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: black; } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: #00718F; } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: #024F69; } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: #032D42; } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: #7057C7; } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: block; max-width: ; width: auto; height: auto; } } When a user runs into this type of error when using Logik via Salesforce, it can be frustrating for an admin to track down what exactly the user could be missing. This article is intended to help admins find what those privileges are and let the user begin their work with Logik as quickly as possible. If you find that you’ve exhausted all pieces listed here, please email us at support@logik.io so that we can further assist you in tracking down the issue and add the solution to this article for future reference. Is the User/Profile set up correctly? The User’s profile needs to be in the list of “authorized profiles” in the Logik Connected App. You can check this by following these steps in your Salesforce organization: Setup > Connected Apps oAuth Usage > Logik Connected App > Manage App Policies > Manage Users > User > [Your User] > [Your User's Profile] > Edit > Connected App Access > Check "Logik Connected App" Also, upon the provisioning of Logik.io for the Salesforce organization, the connected app should be set up where permitted users are set to “Admin approved users are pre-authorized”. If this is not the case, please change this and share this with support@logik.io. Users will also need access to certain objects and fields within Salesforce in order to properly configure/reconfigure. These can be assigned using permission sets or by going to Profiles>Select Desired Profile>Object Settings. Please see this article for the list of objects that users will need read/edit access to. Does this appear when proxying in as the User? If the user is being proxied into and is receiving “Insufficient Privileges”, then this could be an issue with Salesforce OAuthentification. At this time, an “active session” cookie is needed in order to use Logik.io. When proxying into a user at your own organization, this cookie can be obtained by logging into your own user account, entering into the Logik.io Admin, then proxying into your other user. If the account that is proxying does not have Logik.io Admin privileges itself, then it is not currently possible to give them this active session, even if the user they are proxying into has all the necessary privileges. Are there any “third-party cookie-blocking” browser settings/extensions active? Logik.io utilizes cookies to track active sessions across browser tabs. If these are not enabled in the browser, Logik.io cannot operate. The browser itself could be inhibiting this active cookie For more information on Browser issues, see this article: Common Browser Issues While Using Logik.io For Chrome: Click “⋮” at the top right, go into settings, and search “Cookies and other site data” Make sure both of the below are not checked: Here are some third-party cookie-blocking browser extensions that are in common use to look out for: uBlock Origin Privacy Badger Ghostery Disconnect Cookie AutoDelete Some other extensions such as email template or crypto wallets also cause issues with blocking third-party cookies.
