By default, search will return no results for non-admin roles unless the required ACLs are configured on the backend. This is an intentional change from the Zurich release for security reasons. Non-admin users should be able to see results once the ACLs are updated accordingly. This is due to the use of GlideRecordSecure instead of GlideRecord in the widget's server script. Workaround of the issue:Option 1: Clone the widget and create a custom version that uses GlideRecord instead of GlideRecordSecure, then deploy this version on the portal. or Option 2: Create read ACLs on the sp_page, sp_search_source and m2m_sp_portal_search_source tables that the users can pass.
