They will both work if one of them is filling a gap for the other. According to our documentation: "You can also send emails using a combination of both static and dynamic translation. For example, if an email has to be sent in English, French, Spanish, and German and the translated templates for French and Spanish already exist, then the dynamic translation will only happen for German."However, if both dynamic and static translation are enabled for a notification, the static one will take over. And if no static translation is available for a recipient's preferred language, dynamic translation kicks in using the configured translation service.
