The purpose of the job is to transform import sets during times of reduced instance utilization. The Import Set Transformer jobs on the sys_trigger table perform asynchronous transforms when triggered by the import set job. This is done per base system configuration using a concurrent import. It is possible to adjust the timings on the Asynchronous Import Set Transformer, however having it run too frequently defeats the purpose of an asynchronous job meant to run during off-peak times. If too frequent, this may cause problems. For example, setting the Asynchronous Import Set Transformer to run every second essentially leads to synchronous processing and sometimes will trigger another transform of the same record before the first record has completed, showing multiple import set rows for the same record. The Asynchronous Import Set Transformer job should be enabled if needed and kept in base system condition. If modifications are desired and to keep the original scheduled job in base system configuration, it is recommended to create a new Asynchronous Import Set Transformer record via the Insert and Stay UI Action and modifying this record, while being mindful of its purpose when adjusting timings. It should not be so frequent that the job triggers again while the current job is processing. Steps to view or modify the Asynchronous Import Set Transformer job: 1) Navigate to System Definition > Scheduled jobs to view the Scheduled Jobs table (sysauto table). 2) Open the record for Asynchronous Import Set Transformer. 3) Select Insert and Stay UI Action to create a copy of the job. 4) Modify the newly created job to business requirements and according to the above details.
