Table Cleaner job does a permanent data deletion for the tables which have Active Table cleaner rules setup. If a Table cleaner rule needs to be enabled in production, test the rule in a subproduction environment and verify whether the data that has been deleted is expected. Once data has been reviewed, the same table cleaner rule can be setup in production. NOTE - Permanent data deletion by Table cleaner job is an expected behavior. This is not considered as data loss.
