One possibility that was found with multiple customers is that the osquery folder on the agent is owned by a different user and not the default "servicenow" user. Removing the osquery folder from the endpoint will allow the servicenow user to create a new folder during the data collection and to own it. The host data collection should be successful afterwards (depending on other errors).
