Documentation:https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/xanadu-it-service-management/page/product/service-operations-workspace/task/customize-first-level-cards.html When users close a task using the "Close Task" action in the workspace, the system updates the task's "State" to "Closed Complete" and also sets "Active=false" — This is expected behavior.As a result, after this action is performed, the "State" field can no longer be updated from either the record page in the SOW workspace or the UI16 form view.However it may appears that the "Active" field is not being updated when state moved to "Closed Complete". Because the OOB queries depend on "Active=true", these records appear on the home page or in the SOW list view under "Catalog Tasks > Assigned to you". Usually it might be caused by some customizations when workflow set as false (ex: .setWorkflow(false)) before update records which prevent all other scripts and workflows to run for this record.
