Unlike the legacy Workflow engine (which continues execution as the approving user), flows maintain the original session context throughout, so activity log entries show the session initiator instead of the approver. To have the activity log reflect the approving user's name: Open the affected Flow in Flow Designer.Click Flow Properties (gear icon or hamburger menu).Under Run As, change the setting from User who initiates session to System User (or to a specific service account if granular attribution is needed).Alternatively, restructure the flow so that the post-approval record update is performed inside the Wait for Approval step's approval branch, which runs within the approver's context when using certain trigger configurations.Save, activate, and re-test an approval to confirm the activity log reflects the expected user. Note: If audit attribution of the approver's identity is a business requirement, recommend using the Approval History table (sysapproval_approver) for accurate approver tracking, as it always records the approving user regardless of the flow's "Run As" setting.
