This is not supported in on the condition builder for, at least, since Washington family. The condition was added to be available Out of the Box but, the Filter cannot actually construct the condition in the UI as it was shipped because it only supports a list dropdown of values, not a string. the string being "javascript:new PrincipalClass().getPrincipalClasses()". When a user adds a condition to the filter, it effectively uses what is set for the Class condition, which is by default, nothing. This is working as expected unfortunately.
