Upgrading the data foundation model does not change tables to Scope B, as APIs for scope modification are not yet available. For first-time installations of the latest data foundation model, the scope will be set to B. For existing installations, upgrading to the latest data foundation model will keep them in Scope A—they will not transition to Scope B, even after upgrading from older versions of the data foundation application. When we moved the tables to the new scope, we decided not to provide an update set or fix script to handle this at this time. We are aware of the issue and are planning to submit a dependency request to the platform team to address it in the future.
