Provisioning data.world's Data Catalog System The Data Catalog is an advanced capability within the Workflow Data Fabric (WDF), designed to help organizations unify, govern, and activate their enterprise data. It serves as a centralized hub for governing data assets, enriched with insights that enhance data discoverability and supports AI readiness. This functionality is especially critical for powering intelligent workflows and analytics within the ServiceNow platform. For a more detailed overview of its features, please refer to the Workflow Data Fabric Products and Features documentation. The Workflow Data Fabric - Data Catalog, introduced in the Zurich release, is delivered via a standalone data.world Private Instance (PI). This article outlines the steps for customers to request PI provisioning through ServiceNow support. This process applies to customers who have purchased Workflow Data Fabric and are entitled to Data Catalog functionality as part of their package. Note: All PI instances are hosted in the US region. Customers located in APAC or those with government-restricted requirements should contact their sales representative to explore alternative options. Step-by-Step Provisioning Process 1.
