This means for this to work both the provider & consumer have to be on 2.2.x. You can change your remote task definition to a higher version compatibility, and your consumers can choose to upgrade on their own schedule in which then they will receive the latest remote task definition version. Until then they will not receive work notes as they are not on the necessary release for it. Image below shows the compatibility field and what it should look like: Once you have the compatibility set up, you can save the remote task definition. You will now see 'comments' populate within inbound & outbound fields. This already synced automatically within Service Bridge, but was not handled in remote task definitions in lower versions. In previous releases it was a business rule that synced the additional comments.If you want to disable additional comments from syncing you can do this as well by changing when you sync this field. I.e. changing it from Syncing on 'Insert or Update' to 'Never'. Now to sync work notes you simply need to add in new outbound/inbound fields for work notes like so: Target mapping will now allow you to choose 'work notes.' If you do NOT change the compatibility to v2.2.x you will NOT see work notes in this list. You also have the ability to sync all pre-existing entries in the task record on insert with: I.e. in a scenario where you have work notes auto populate on a task record before the remote task is actually created, this will allow those to sync as well.
