With this feature enabled, both the portal and Now Assist use the same search profile, which is defined in the Information Sources section of the assistant configuration. This is the expected behaviour. However, the search profile of the Now Assist may be configured differently from the search application of the portal, which can affect the search results. Copying a configuration ensures that the portal and assistant have the same search configuration.
