This occurs when the `last_discovered` value in the integration payload is older than the `last_discovered` value already recorded on the CI in the CMDB. The base system behavior of the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) prevents older payload values from overwriting the `last_discovered` and `discovery_source` attributes. By default, this property is set to true and behaves as follows: true: If last_discovered is provided in the payload and it is older than the last_discovered of the CI in the CMDB, IRE does not use the payload values to update the last_discovered and the discovery_source attributes in the CMDB. The `discovery_source` field is a restricted field controlled by the IRE. It is populated via the IRE payload using the discovery source defined in the RTE definition, not through direct field mapping in the transform. The IRE returns a NO_CHANGE result and does not update `discovery_source` if another source has an equal or more recent scan date recorded in the `sys_object_source` table, even when other CI fields are successfully updated. To allow the SGC to update `discovery_source` even when the payload `last_discovered` is older, consider setting the property to false: false: Even if `last_discovered` in the payload is older than `last_discovered` on the CI in the CMDB, IRE uses the payload values to update `last_discovered` and `discovery_source`. To update the system property, follow the steps below: 1. Log in to the ServiceNow instance.2. Navigate to the System Properties table.3.
