This is expected behaviour in the new ServiceNow Studio (/now/servicenow-studio) because the can_edit_in_studio property is not recognised or enforced in the new Studio. The property only applies in the legacy Studio (/$studio.do/) and only for store apps, not custom apps. Steps to reproduce: Connect to the affected instance.Open new Studio (/now/servicenow-studio).Check the list of applications in the left panel.The custom application is visible and can be edited, even though it is not marked as can_edit_in_studio. Store apps are stored in the sys_store table.The Can Edit Application in Studio flag applies only to store apps, not to custom apps. Legacy Studio behavior The Can Edit Application in Studio property is used only in the legacy Studio (/$studio.do/).For store apps in the legacy Studio, the legacy Studio restricts the app from opening if either of the following use cases is satisfied: The app customization feature is enabled, the app is a store app, the store app is not capable of customisation, and can_edit_in_studio is set to false.The app is a store app and can_edit_in_studio is set to false.
