Additionally, the 'Actuals' column in the cost plan breakdowns for this demand is empty, causing the actuals from the breakdowns not to be displayed in the Portfolio Planning Workspace. This issue can be reproduced by creating a new expense line for a specific demand and assigning a cost plan, then observing that the 'Total actual cost' of the cost plan does not update. Out of the box it is not possible to associate expense lines to cost plans on demands. The actual cost from the expense lines tied to the demand rolls up to 'Demand actual costs' field. When the demand gets converted to project, the expense lines remain with the demand whereas the cost plans and budget records move over to the project.As the cost plans move to projects on 'demand to project' conversion, if any expense lines are associated to cost plans, they cannot stay associated with the demand record anymore and need to be moved to project record giving the wrong interpretation that they were incurred on the project. In the current capability, the expense lines remained tied to demand reflecting the costs incurred during demand evaluation.Recommend behaviour: is that if expense lines need to be tied to cost plans, it should be done once the demand is converted to a project.
