In the Yokohama release, to address this limitation, we released Fuzzy numeric search in AI Search. It lets you find indexed records by their Number field values "without needing to enter alphabetic prefixes or leading zeroes." e.g. If you would like to find the INC0010967, you can search for "10967". Searching for "967" still does not work.
