NOW-DSC-DOMAIN_USER_VISIBILITY_THRESHOLD_EXCEEDEDNOW-DSC-DOMAIN_USER_VISIBILITY_THRESHOLD_EXCEEDEDSeverityWarningRoot Cause There is a specific threshold beyond which users with visibility to domains may experience suboptimal performance. The users identified in the audit exceed or nearly meet this threshold. The default threshold for a user’s domain visibility is 20. EffectAs domain visibility assigned to a user exceeds the threshold, query performance can be significantly impacted. The performance is degraded because when a user has visibility into too many domains, all those domains are appended to the query, which affects performance during data retrieval.Corrective Action Log onto your instance.Navigate to Domain Separation Center.Select the Warnings widget.Open the "User Visibility Threshold Exceeded" audit record and take note of the sys_ids listed in the detail.Navigate to the sys_user_visibility.list.For each sys_id in the audit details list on the right, assess the necessity of each domain listed in the sys_user_visibility record. The sys_id values correspond to the entries in the "User" column of the sys_user_visibility table.Make appropriate adjustments and rerun the audit. Note : A potential suggestion would be to ensure that there are no duplicate, redundant, or invalid domain visibility entries for a user. This will help maintain clean and accurate sys user visibility records for a user. For further corrective steps, reach out to your account team to discuss various strategies that can reduce the number of visibility rules. If customer is satisfied with the current performance but still see the audit flagged, we have a property "com.glide.domain.audit.user_visibility_threshold" that you can introduce in the sys_properties.list table to reset the default value to a number other than 20. While the exact value may vary, we always recommend keeping visibility records to a minimum to maintain optimal performance.
