Now Assist Search - Results different in portal vs. Virtual Agent - Support and Troubleshooting

Now Assist Search - Results different in portal vs. Virtual Agent Problem When searching using the any promp, the search results are different in the portal and Virtual Agent (Now Assist). The KBs and attachments from the search results being used to generate the response are the same. The incorrect answer is observed in the /myhr portal, while the correct answer is observed in Virtual Agent.

Root Cause Different searches used on those (Portal and VA). Virtual agent is using 'Now Assist in VA' and portal is using 'ESC Portal Default Search Application'.

Steps to Resolve 1. Review the searches used. 2. Create a new search application similar than 'Now assist in VA' and tie it to the portal setup to have the same results. Or just use 'Now assist in VA' search on portal
