Self-hosted: ClothoDB does not automatically startIssue The ClothoDB server for MetricBase has been configured on a self-hosted instance. However, the ClothoDB service does not automatically start upon server startup.ReleaseAllResolutionIt is expected behavior for ClothoDB to not automatically start when the Operating System (OS) is started. In order to start a ClothoDB instance when the OS starts, an init file or systemd unit file would need to be created. Init and systemd are OS features and out of the scope of Now Support. Please contact your Linux system administrator for further assistance. Alternatively, there is documentation about these features on the web (e.g., Red Hat Product Documentation). The scope of Now Support is explained in the ServiceNow Self-hosted Software Guide. The Guide states: CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES3.1 APPLICATION SERVER.Customer is responsible for installing and maintaining the operating system on the application server. Customermay review ServiceNow's standard installation instructions and configuration details for the Software on theapplication server found in the Planning Guide.
