The banner image for UI16 is not displayed for non-admin users, while it is displayed for admin users. Steps to reproduce : Log in the affected instance.Impersonate with the affected user (i.e., non admin users)The banner image always appears as 'ServiceNow' logo Expected behaviour: The banner image 'ServiceNow' shouldn't appear when non-admin users (e.g., itil users) log in to the instance. Actual behaviour: The banner image 'ServiceNow' appears only when non-admin users (e.g., itil users) log in to the instance. For your information, admin users can see the banner image that they anticipate. Cause<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Two causes : One is a custom ACL related to [core_company] (i.e., operation is 'read') The other one is regarding the affected user, checked the user's company (e.g., testSN) and the company record which is 'testSN' exists in [core_company] with a column named 'Parent' (you may need to the column by going to a hamburger icon -> configure -> Form layout -> 'Parent [+]' Resolution<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } To troubleshoot/resolve the issue : 1) You need to use debug security when impersonating the affected user and it catches the custom ACL related to [core_company] then try to disable this ACL and see if the issue disappeared or not when impersonating with the affected user again. Due to the custom ACL, the issue occurs. So, customisation/implementation is outside of our technical support scope. 2) You need to where the affected user belongs (i.e., which company the user is belonged to). Once figured the user's company name, look up the name of the company in [core_company] table (i.e., core_company.list) and see if there is a value or not in the column 'Parent' After you clear the value in the column 'Parent', the issue no longer appears. Either 1) or 2) may resolve the issue.
