However this table cleaner is not specific to Export Sets. This is a general MID Server platform table, used by other features such as Discovery, GIT Source Control, StreamPipeline probes, and possibly also MID Server auto-upgrade where zip files are downloaded via the instance, and so those records belonging to those apps would would also be retained longer. This would need thorough testing on sub-prod instance before implementing anything in PROD. This could cause database table size and performance implications for the instance. Once the table cleaner has cleaned up the attachments, there is no way to recover those. The expected usage is that these are temporary records and files, and once exported to the MID Server (which also only retains them for 30 days), would then be moved by customer's own automation to somewhere else, where they could be stored long-term.
