Now Assist generated summary contains a URL (similar to "link0.servicenow.com") that is not part of the source record being summarized Description Now Assist Summarization skills allow content within the existing record to be summarized based on applicable skills like Summarization, Resolution Notes Generation, Chat Summarization. When such records being summarized contain URLs, expectation is that the Now Assist generated summary show the actual URL if it needs to be part of the summary.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install latest Now Assist for ITSM/CSM/HR and activate any summarization skill such as Chat, Summarization, or Resolution Notes Generation. 2. Go to the relevant task record, example incident, Case, HR Case, where summarization capability is available and ensure that the record has a URL in the comments, work notes, description or any of the other input fields. 3. Click on "Summarize" button or generate resolution notes for the record. 4. Review the generated summary and observe that if a URL is mentioned, it is listed as "link0.servicenow.com" instead of the actual URL.

Expected: Any URLs included in the Now Assist generated summary should show their actual value Actual: URLs included in the Now Assist generated summary are listed as "link .servicenow.com"

Workaround This issue is fixed in Xanadu release.

To fix this issue, customers that are on Xanadu can update their Now Assist main application such as Now Assist for ITSM, Now Assist for CSM etc. to the latest available version. This will update the dependent application UXC Generative AI (ID: com.sn.uxc.gen.ai) to version 6.0.2 or the latest version, which contains the fix for this issue.
