ACC-V runs hosts data collection on every agent up event - creating stress on the MID servers and instance' nodes. Description ACC-V runs host data collection on every agent-up event. For some customers, this is creating stress on the MID servers and instance nodes if the number of agents is over 100k.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect as many agents as possible, our customers connect over 100K 2. Make sure all of them are fully discovered and have a host CI attached 3. Make as many of them down 4. Wait 1 hour and 1 minute and bring all of them up at the same time 5. Observer the transaction, CPU, memory on the instance's nodes.

Workaround As a workaround, you can disable the script action "Enhanced Discovery - On Agent Up" (sys id: c60a5f5e1bd668104429fd961a4bcb49).

Steps to disable the above script action:

Go to System Policy> Events > Script Actions. Search for the "Enhanced Discovery - On Agent Up" script action and mark it inactive (active as false). Related Problem: PRB1786816
