Error while opening the add-in in browser If an issue occurs when trying to open the PowerPoint add-in. Please follow the steps below to resolve the problem. 1. Missing an application registry file. We have to check if the instance contains the below record. In case this record does not exist, kindly Import it. 2. Response Header file configuration issues. a. Open “sys_response_header” table and check for any global records that are present in the system. These global record gets applied to the PowerPoint application and cause problems when logging in. Ensure that these global records are made inactive. b. KB Article - https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sys_kb_id=475b41b947174210f64de825126d4381 3. Checking the SSO settings is necessary if there are no problems with the application registry or response header files. If the instance's SSO configuration is enabled, we can navigate to the active identity provider file and enable the "ForceAuthnRequest" field in the advanced section, this fixes any cache issues. NOTE - If SSO is not enabled, we can use the local login username and password. SSO is not mandatory for the PowerPoint add-in. Please get in touch with the CS-Integration team if the "ForceAuthnRequest" field is enabled but the SSO is still not working, so they can perform an initial review of the SSO settings and investigate the problem further.
