Search Results Not Displayed Correctly in Virtual Agent ChatbotIssueWhen users search for specific terms in the virtual agent chatbot, they receive unexpected results. The search works fine when performed outside of categories or topics. Steps to reproduce 1. Go to https://_INSTANCE_NAME_.service-now.com/_PORTAL_2. Open chatbot3. Search for "VDI Upgrade Request"4. Observe the result.5. Then close this conversation.Again start new conversation1. Go to Show me everything and select any topic.2. For example. Select General IT - Core Applications3. Search for "VDI Upgrade Request".4. Observe the result.Compare both results CauseThe issue occurs because the virtual agent is using AI search based on the entry typed. When users search without using the "show me everything" option, the virtual agent searches for relevant KB articles, catalog items, and other information. However, when users use the "show me everything" option, they select a topic and type a search term, such as "VDI Upgrade Request." In this case, the virtual agent does not perform an AI search or make a Genius call. Instead, it goes to the selected topic and displays the options available for that topic. If none of the options match the search term, the virtual agent displays the "Sorry, I didn't understand" message and provides the options again. Resolution1- To resolve the issue, users should ensure that they are using the correct search method.2- If users want to search for specific information, they should use the first option without using the "show me everything."3- If users want to explore all available options, they should use the second option and select a topic before typing their search term. Conclusion: The virtual agent's search functionality works differently depending on the search method used. Users should choose the appropriate method to get the desired results.
