Steps to customize pages in Workplace CentralAs part of May release 2024 (Version May 24), we have shipped out a protection policy for all the pages and screens of "Event Planner" and "Case Management" workspace. Users wouldn't be able to customise the OOB pages without duplicating them. As a best practice on any version, it's recommended to make the customisation as per the steps below:Navigate to the Workplace central from UI Builder navigator, and choose a page you'd like to customise. In the example below, we will use Case SRP.Click on the Case SRP - SettingsClick on Duplicate, which will duplicate the routes, scripts and screens associated to the page.After this step, navigate to the duplicated screen, and click on settings. Once you arrive at the settings of the duplicated screen, you will find a field called order. Make sure that the order field of the newer screen has a lower order, than the original page.Click on settings of the new screen to configure the order field, you can also use an order of negative value (say "-100") in case the OOB page has an order of value 0.Click on Save.Steps to revert to an OOB screen: You can navigate to the settings section of your custom screen and uncheck the Active checkbox. Unchecking the 'Active' field should let you see the OOB Page.What happens on upgrade? After duplicating these pages, you will own the the copied page and will not get any updates on the copied page on upgrades. If you wish to update your pages to have the latest changes from OOB page, you can take one of the two approaches below. If the changes made in the customised/duplicate copy of the original page are simple, you can duplicate the original page once again after the upgrade. And carry over the customizations to the newly duplicated page.If the changes made are complex, compare the macroponent definitions of the original page against the customised page and uptake the changes.
