Associate a record with an interaction

Extend ServiceNow AI Platform capabilities > Manage people and work capabilities > Interaction Management >

As an agent, you might need to create a record on another table to work on an interaction. You can associate the record with the interaction.

Role required: interaction_agent

Navigate to All > Interaction > Assigned to me . Open the interaction you want to associate with another record. In the form header, click Associate Record . In the ID of related record field, click the search icon. From the Document Table list, select the table you want to associate a record from. From the Document field, click the search icon. Select an existing record from the list, or click New to create a record. Click OK . Click Submit .

The associated record appears in the Related Tasks related list for the interaction.
