MID Server false error "Missing start/stop permissions" when restarting the MID Server from the instance, when it isn'tDescriptionMID Server throws an error "Missing start/stop permissions of user <mid user>, Please follow KB1116916 to add permissions" when restarting the MID Server from the instance. If the service user is a domain user, this may be a false error, and the MID Server is able to restart.Steps to Reproduce Download the MID Server zip file (not the MSI installer), and configure config.xml and wrapper-override.conf.Create the service and Start the MID Server service using start.batNow stop the MID Server and assign the Log on user to a Domain User with local Administrative previledge.Start the MID ServerIn the instance, open the MID Server's recordClick the Restart MID related link Actual behaviour: MID Server throws an error in the instance saying "Missing start/stop permissions of user <mid user>, Please follow KB1116916 to add permissions" Expected behaviour:Nothing is wrong. It should not throw any error in the instance side.WorkaroundThis problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to. If you know the MID Server service logon user already can stop/start the service without any problem, the error message can be ignored.Related Problem: PRB1595753
