How to find a required dependency in the ServiceNow Store Description Can't find dependencies for an application or plugin? See the below for the steps necessary to locate them and complete your installation or update. When attempting to install or update certain applications in your instance, you may receive a message requesting that you purchase one or more dependencies from the ServiceNow Store, or update to a more recent version of them, before proceeding. However, when searching on the Store for them, you may not find any results. This occurs because some applications are only made available as dependencies of main Store applications.ResolutionDependency applications can be found in the ServiceNow Store by performing the following steps: Rather than searching for the dependency applications in the search bar on ServiceNow Store, navigate to the main/parent application that you are trying to install or update.Click on the Dependencies tab. This will give you the list of app dependencies.A red X icon might be displayed next to any dependencies in the list. This means that app need to be requested from the Store to be mapped with your instance. Click on the dependency application with X to open the related application page.Click on Get to request the application. If there are additional dependencies in the list requiring procurement, please follow the above mentioned procedure for all. This process is also explained in KB1438103 Once all apps are procured, log in to the instance and try to install or update the main application again. Note: It may take a few minutes for the instance to reflect the changes made from the Store. Alternatively, you can click on "Sync Now" button in application manager module on your instance to sync it with ServiceNow store. The video below, shows these steps in detail. Additional InformationOnce the applications are installed, if you are unable to find a dependency application in your instance under System applications > All available applications, please refer to the section Checking active Dependency-only/Hidden on UI Store applications in an instance in KB1272093: Checking active maint-only plugins and active Store applications hidden on UI.
