Add a business application

Add the applications that your organization wants to introduce based on their functions and the business process they fulfill. In APM, add any business application that is used to assess and track costs, usage, business value, functional fitment, and risks.

Role required: sn_apm.apm_analyst

Note: The user must be part of the Enterprise Architect Group.

If you have an APM user role (sn_apm.apm_user), use the Business Application Life-cycle Management services to request, add, or retire a business application.

Navigate to All > Application Portfolio Management > Enterprise Architecture Workspace > Workspace Home . Open the Portfolio List view by clicking the Portfolio icon . Select the expand row icon ( ) next to Business Applications . Select All . Select New . On the form, fill in the fields. For field information, see Business Application Form .

Select Save .
